Bio: David J Corliss, PhD is the founder and Director of Peace-Work, a volunteer cooperative of statisticians and data scientists applying AI, advanced analytics, and statistical methods to issue driven advocacy in poverty, education, social justice, and providing analytic support for charitable groups. Human trafficking is a major initiative at Peace Work. Dr . Corliss holds a PhD in statistical astrophysics from the University of Toledo.

Jarrett Davis, MA
Affilliation: Independent Social Researcher
Jarrett Davis is a researcher focused on human trafficking and sexual exploitation, with special foci in Southeast Asia and the United States. His work centers on populations often overlooked in anti-trafficking research — including boys and young men, transgender individuals, and street-involved youth. He has conducted deep fieldwork in Cambodia, Thailand, and the Philippines, and uses data analytics and visualization to translate research findings into tools for practitioners and policymakers. Jarrett is a Senior Research Scholar with GAHTS and co-founder of up! Collective.

Madeline Stenersen, PhD
Affilliation: Saint Louis University Depatment of Pschology
Dr. Madeline Stenersen is a researcher, evaluator, consultant, and current Assistant Professor of Psychology at Saint Louis University. She specializes in conducting community-based participatory research in close partnership with local and national organizations in the areas of sex trafficking, law enforcement, substance use, and health equity. In addition to scholarly publications and presentations, Dr. Stenersen’s work also emphasizes the dissemination of research findings to the larger community and society through online, op-ed, and policy-based materials. She has completed multiple evaluations of sex trafficking prevention and intervention programming with law enforcement, health care personnel, school children, and other community stake holders. Dr. Stenersen also has expertise advanced qualitative and quantitative methods and in using big and public data to combat violence and trafficking. As a result of her work, Dr. Stenersen has received multiple awards from the American Psychological Association including the Bridging the Gap Award for her work connecting research efforts to on-the-ground change and outcomes in local communities.
